Safe Place Ministries exists to provide education, resources, support, and services to individuals, care providers, and churches, whose lives and ministries have been touched by domestic abuse, childhood sexual abuse and/or sexual assault.

Safe place Ministries began in 1995. Today a paid staff of five (two full-time and three part-time), two contract licensed professional counselors, and a corps of approximately 100 volunteers are working together to meet the 1) ministry needs of churches and the 2) recovery needs of individual women and children. SPM offers a full range of victim services to the greater Boise area as well as training and resources throughout Idaho and beyond through our Education Resource Network.

Safe Place Ministries is an Idaho nonprofit corporation with 501 (c) (3) 509 (a) tax exempt status. We are supported by gifts from individuals and churches, grants, modest fees, and client donations.

"For I know the plans I
have for you," declares
the Lord, "plans to
prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future."
