Safe Place Ministries has collected and created a
variety of resources for victims of abuse, friends
and family members of victims, victim service
providers, and church leaders. SPM resources are
provided free or at a modest price. Donations
are appreciated to offset expenses.

SPM Brochure
"Help and Hope" Outreach Cards
Business card size, these cards are designed to get information
about abuse and available services
into the hands of victims and care providers. This card is great for
carrying in a purse or wallet,
or placing in an office or lobby. Free in quantities up to 100.
SPM Quicklooks
Concise, one-page (front and back) treatments of topics related to abuse. Available in PDF format, you may copy and use at your convenience.
SPM Newsletters
Each issue of Safe Place News addresses some aspect of
trauma/abuse and recovery from a Christian perspective.
Safe Place News also keeps readers up to date on ministry developments and
training opportunities.

Pastor (Church Leader) Packs
SPM Pastor Packs include an eight-page narrative introducing
the topic of domestic abuse along with sample
Quicklooks, a RBC booklet, a SPM brochure, and a SPM Outreach Card. One
pack per person is
available free of charge. Additional packs are $5.00 each.
Ada County (Idaho) Resource Directory
A directory of resources available to women and their
families in the Ada County area. Each entry contains
information on services available, hours, contact person, and eligibility requirements.
Topics include children's
services, clothing, counseling, financial aid, food, housing, legal aid, medical,
social services,
transportation, and victim witness coordinators.
Cost: $35.00 with binder and tabs
Refills: $15.00
Idaho Victim Services Directory
An overview of resources needed to respond specifically
to domestic abuse, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse.
Resources are listed for each county throughout Idaho. Published as
a spiral bound notebook for $15.00.
Lending Library
Books, videos, DVDs, tapes, booklets and other literature
organized around topics that correspond with SPM classes and workshops.
Whenever possible resources have been recurred that are from a Christian perspective. A
Resource Library Catalog will
eventually be available online that reviews all available resources and describes
different ways of accessing them. No charge.
RBC Booklets
RBC Ministries (publishers of Our Daily Bread) has various
booklets on topics related to abuse. Topics include: When
Violence Comes Home: Help for Victims of Spouse Abuse; When Power Is Misused:
Finding the True Strength of a Man;
When Trust is Lost: Healing For Victims of Sexual Abuse; When Words Hurt; God's
Protection of Women: When Abuse is
Worse Than Divorce. Large quantities are available directly from RBC
Ministries ( www.rbc.net ) for a donation.
SPM will send up to five copies at no charge.
Family Life Booklet: A Way of Hope
A forty-six page booklet, published by Family Life, on
breaking the cycle of domestic abuse.
