Leaders
A 30-60 minute introduction to domestic abuse
with folder of information included. No charge.
Church Network Training
A half-day workshop for church leaders and members,
designed to introduce participants to the topic of abuse and help
them use the SPM Education Resource Network to
respond and minister more effectively to women recovering from
childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, and/or domestic abuse. Contact
SPM to schedule. Fee: $30.00 per person with 4-7 participants,
or $20 per person with 8 or more participants. (Fee includes
manual.)
Victim Advocate Training
A fifteen-hour training course designed to prepare
church leaders and members to act as advocates for women dealing
with childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, and/or domestic abuse. This
training course is available each October and April. Cost
is $40.00 per person including materials. For more information

Personal Growth and Ministry Training Course
A weekly class lasting seven months designed to
renew and strengthen a believer's confidence in the sufficiency
of Christ and His gospel and their own ability to minister to hurting
people. Designed to be beneficial for personal growth and/or
preparation for ministry, this course covers how to study the Bible,
spiritual life, understanding people and pain, and principles of
ministry. Classes begin in September. Fee: $7.50
per person per class. Materials included.
Understanding and Supporting the Spiritual
and
Religious Needs of Victims
A two hour workshop for secular victim service
providers to help them understand and validate the spiritual and
religious needs of the victim they serve. Contact SPM to
schedule. Fee: $5.00 per person for materials. |
