SPM Victim Services

Safe Place Ministries provides a group of direct services to women and children recovering from domestic abuse, sexual assault, and/or childhood sexual abuse. We offer many of the same services as other victim service providers with the unique niche of also providing what we call integrated services. By integrated, we mean services that are consistent with both Christian principles and accurate information about the various types of abuse. Services include, but are not limited to:

SOCIAL SERVICES	SPIRITUAL CARE
EDUCATION	SUPPORT GROUPS
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING	CHILDREN'S COUNSELING
PSYCHIATRIC MEDICATION MGMT	LIFE SKILLS CLASSES

Our services are available to anyone needing them regardless of beliefs and/or ability to pay.
Clients are asked to make a donation consistent with their own financial ability.

Group Calendar 2007-2008

SPM routinely offers the following support groups each year:

> Destructive Relatioships (10 weeks)

> Healthy Relationships (10 weeks)

> Recovering from CSA (16 weeks)
(CSA: Childhood Sexual Abuse)

> Relationship With God (8 weeks)

SPM Support Groups are available to SPM clients only. If you are not a client
and you are interested in participating in a group, please call SPM before
the group starts to schedule a free Initial Intake Assessment.
